Summary
Muriel discovers Aziraphale's diaries one day while exploring the bookshop left in their charge, and while at first believing them to be works of fiction, they soon discover through the demon, Crowley, that the stories within them are horrifyingly true. Meaning, something with Heaven was horribly wrong. With the Supreme Archangel Aziraphale busy in Heaven, and Crowley constantly inebriated and despondent, their only hope of receiving answers (and possibly, desperately needed help) is to track down and contact a group of friends they had read about in one of the diaries. The only problem is the friends were apparently from an entirely different universe.
With the apocalypse long over and the fate of humanity left in the hands of the hunters, Team free will has trained, Dean and Castiel find themselves to be in somewhat of a rut. Who knew that choosing retirement would prove to be so...boring? It isn't that their relationship could only thrive in times of chaos and turmoil...except maybe it was. Dean begins to wonder if maybe Castiel is losing his interest and tries to find something to reignite the spark. Lucky for him, adventure comes in the form of a call from a mysterious angel who happens to know an old friend.

Summary
Dean’s favourite coffee shop, The Graveyard Shift, is only open after the sun goes down. Which is perfect for him, because that’s exactly when he craves coffee the most while doing the overnight at the fire hall. The coffee shop’s owner is pretty perfect too, but it’s kind of a bummer that Dean never gets to see Cas during the day. In a world where the supernatural live more or less in peace with the rest of humanity, it’s a little impolite to ask Cas just what he really is - or what his dark past entails.

Summary
Castiel Novak is used to change. He's used to being the new kid in school. So when he moves with his family to the small town of Rail Pass, he doesn't expect things to be much different than the last three towns.
But then he meets Dean Winchester, an aggressive fellow student who sees Castiel as the shiny new toy he and his friends get to mess with. Castiel has had his fair share of bullies in the past, but nothing like this. He's never felt this way about a bully, or anyone for that matter, before. Maybe something's wrong with him, that he could feel so attracted to someone who makes his everyday life hell.
