It was probably only a couple of seconds, but holding his stare, unmoving, felt like forever to Shane. He didn’t actually expect it when Rozanov moved towards him, much less when he kept moving into his space, causing Shane to back up until he was flush against the wall. The intense stare Rozanov still held had Shane worried he was going to punch him, for a second, when he did something even more unexpected – he kissed him.
