He sometimes wonders if magic has interfered with his system, as the moon wordlessly beckons him out. She tells him to step right out into oblivion - don't look down.

Donnie stared at her blankly, trying to piece together what she meant. Everything. What was everything supposed to mean?

The large hand shattering his wrist, his head cracking against the floor, screaming as Leo ran his blade through his shoulder, Raph ripping through his shell like paper, dragging him back by the ankle, shattering his plastron, hands around his throat, squeezing, being dizzy and delirious and terrified and begging—

The only path out of the area he had chosen for himself is covered in its entirety by the welcoming arms of the fog, and even if he dared to enter the forest there is a thick film of fog seeping out of it, beckoning him even as his mind screams to run away.

Jon’s not entirely sure what he should do in this situation. He wants to pick up his phone and call—someone. He doesn’t think anyone would pick up. The fog calls for him, its tendrils curling around his ankles and making their way up his legs. Jon brushes them off.
He pulls out a tape recorder, goes to click it on (unnecessary, the thing is already recording) and he records a statement.

Summary

It's not like there's any way to cure it - he's certain he isn't in love with anyone, and he can't find any other disease that matches the description - so really it just makes sense to keep it to himself. No need to stress anybody else out.
