“Look pal,” Soobin put his hands on the air, feigning innocence, “you sure call me a kid quite a lot for someone who is shorter than me, power trip much?”
“God,” Gylfox put his face in his hands. If Soobin concentrated enough, he could picture some scrunched up eyebrows underneath his mask, “I can tell why those guys wanted to mug you, you’re so annoying!”
“Ha. Ha. Funny.” Soobin replied humorlessly as he crossed his arms, “You tell that to every person you save?”
“No. Only to the ones that act like brats.”

“Why does your eomma smell like your father?” Yeonjun asks tightly, still not looking at him, and Soobin is already answering before he fully processed the question because that is obvious, and why is he even asking-
“Because they’re mated-” he sucks in a startled breath as his brain catches up. He stares at Yeonjun with wide stricken eyes, feeling his heart literally crack inside his chest. “You’re... you have a mate.”
And of course Yeonjun is mated. Of course.
He is only the most beautiful creature Soobin has ever laid eyes on.

Summary
The world is a beautiful place in the flawless life of prim and proper Choi Soobin…until he’s dumped by his girlfriend of over a year. As if that didn’t wreck life enough, things quickly fall apart overnight when his unexpected club outing with a friend ends in a hookup with a guy. But it gets worse – said guy turns out to be a new coworker of Soobin’s…and things only get more awkward from there. The more time Soobin spends around his new infatuation, the more he starts looking less like the ‘good boy’ he’s been his whole life.
