Summary
Scar cupped Grian's face, thumb gently stroking his cheek as Grian shuddered. He leaned into the hand, eyes slipping closed.
"You're beautiful," Scar whispered, eyes tracking all over his face. The wings on the side of Grian's head fluttered as his blush, which had at first only covered his cheeks, spread further down. His head tried to duck down with it, but Scar's hold on him prevented him from being able to do so.

One sec cub.” he answered it with cubs voice going out ‘SCAR YOUR IN THE MIDDLE OF—“ The call going to his earpiece cutting him out. “Hey birdie—“ Scar said ignoring cubs distress as he grabbed his bow again shooting an arrow straight through the guy in front of him. “—How are you?” Scar said with a grin immediately getting in a better mood getting to hear his husbands voice.

Pushing him against the wall of the building, the avian slotted a leg in between the other’s thighs, pinning him there and pressing into his crotch, adding more pressure and eliciting a breathy gasp alongside a slightly annoyed glare from the taller. It was rare for Hotguy to let him take control like this, but when he did, he knew it was only because all of his power would be stripped away (his power not being the only thing that would be stripped) from him later. When he was given the privilege of being in control though, there was no way he would let the chance to tease the other like this slip away from his grasp. Better to enjoy the moment now than never, he would always say.

Summary
This story starts right after chapter 15 of Double Hearted by Kitsuneisi on Tumblr.
After Grian is released from the hospital things aren't the same between Hotguy and Cuteguy. Hotguy trying to make up for his mistakes leads to an unexpected discovery that could change the lives of mutants everywhere, and changes his relationships with Grian and Cuteguy. They grow closer as the world around them changes.
Or
After Hotguy grows closer to Grian he impulsively cuts ties with the Emerald City without thinking about the consequences. When the same person that attacked the university returns things spiral even farther out of control. Then Grian accidentally starts a revolution.

Grian’s hopelessly in love with his coworker and fellow architecture professor—Scar. He knows nothing's going to come from it, but when he finds out Scar’s got a thing for his vigilante alter-ego, Grian can’t help but use that to his advantage.
Hotguy is infatuated with his vigilante pseudo–nemesis, but Cuteguy keeps blocking his advances and he isn’t anywhere close to getting through to the man. When his civilian coworker Grian winds up in the hospital for something he should have been able to prevent, he can't stop himself from falling for the man he'd overlooked for years.
