Merging into the role of Batman was as easy as breathing, coming back from a hard night in Gotham streets to tea with Alfred was as familiar as Gotham harbor, even forming the Justice League felt as right as the settle of the cape against his shoulders.
But a family from a distant future that still seems somehow far too close? That’s where it gets tedious.
Or; The Batfamily get thrown into the past where inch by inch (and one by one) they meet a close-guarded and younger version of their dad, the Batman. Tetia being kind of a goody two shoes is surprisingly true to her character. She just doesn't want anyone to get in trouble and for everyone to be safe!
I also like the decision to make Agott and Richeh the bad influences because Agott is eager to grow up and Richeh likes to do what she wants. And Coco easily being swayed to just go along with it but quickly feeling guilty and unsure was very in character.
This fic is in such a special place of being silly fun and a perfect representation of childhood. Having to wait in the toy aisle for your parent to finish shopping, getting fomo from all the other girls going to do something a little bad and getting dragged into it, refusing to be a snitch.

She should have gotten more. “There’s talk about someone falling from the sphere again.” The other two raised silent eyebrows and she shrugged at the unasked questions. “Dunno. I believe some traffickers claim they found a Sphereite, alive, apparently.”
Zanka scoffed. “Sounds pretty fake if you ask me. Probably just want to squeeze money out of people and end up giving them a skeleton they found in No Man’s Land. Who survives a fall from the sky?”
Riyo shrugged again. “It’s just rumors.”
Enjin rubbed his chin thoughtfully. “I like rumors,” he said. “Should probably go check it out.”

Or: What if Rudo hadn't gotten picked up by Enjin in No Man's Land but was instead captured by the traffickers and the Cleaners rescue him later on.
