Who falls into traps laid by sharper tongues and cockier grins.

So when Nicholas found a rental house just outside Tokyo—quiet, near the coast, fully stocked—Euijoo didn’t put up much of a fight. It was cute, and private enough, theoretically, to make it worth it.

(When the same thing happens during his next rut, and then again, again and again, he gives up trying. Let’s himself desire something he’ll never have, burying it until it’s of sight, hidden in the crevices of things that will never be.)
Or: Fuma longs for things that don't belong to him. Yudai would argue he was always Fuma’s, a celestial certainty written into the stars.
