    Prince Obi-Wan of the Jedi Kingdom is perfectly willing to marry into the royal family of the Mandalorian Empire to ensure his kingdom's safety and prosperity. He understands that this will mean adapting to a new culture and family and living situation, and feels he is prepared to at least try.
    He perhaps isn't prepared for some of his new family's culture that didn't make it into the treaty or the rest of negotiations. His new family, on the other hand, seems very ready to bring him into their fold.

    Once the Kenobi floodgates are opened, they cannot be closed. Cody has apparently been keeping an itemized list of disagreements, and he is determined to tell Rex each and every one of them.

    Kenobi refuses to listen to Cody’s input. Kenobi throws himself into battle with no regard for previously established battle plans. Kenobi uses the Force so recklessly and obviously that every undercover assignment is blown within the first few minutes. Kenobi is a hypocrite who berates Cody for sidestepping protocol, but flouts it himself at every opportunity.

    Right. And he says Kenobi’s dramatic.

    “You told me,” Ben says hoarsely, into the silence. “You told me once that you chose your name because you wanted to make your own kind of glory.”

    There are very few people who know that. Most of them are dead.

    “Glory,” Ben continues. “Kote. Cody. It is you, isn’t it?”

    “You know me,” Cody manages. “How do you know me?”

    Ben reaches up towards his own helmet, very slowly. Cody is helpless as he pulls it off, lets it rest in the space between them, and looks Cody dead in the eye for the first time in six years.

    “You said it yourself,” Obi-Wan Kenobi says. “You killed me.”

    Glory wants a job. Obi-Wan wants his nephew. Luke wants a bantha. Also, there's a crime syndicate and a love story worked out somewhere in the middle.

Ten years ago, millions of clone commanders and troopers were introduced as the Republic’s new Army, made for fighting a war alongside people the galaxy seemed to be forgetting ever existed. Nine months ago, Commander Cody decided he was no longer going to risk his men's lives for the whims of clueless generals.
