Again, what did Izaya do to deserve this? In one moment he was sitting in his bedroom, tiref and just wanting to sleep, and then suddenly a woman who looks like Celty arrives in front of him, telling him that she is a Spirit of Christmas. C'mon it's not like he did something bad this year. He just... Oh, well, screw that, so maybe it was his fault after all.

Shizuo never really listened to Izaya's rambling. Though there were a few things that he was able to hear. One of them was the goddamn flea considering himself a god. But for Shizuo if there was anything that Izaya for sure wasn't, it was any sort of deity. And to his last moments, he didn't realise how wrong he was.
