Summary
Hermione only wanted Essence of Turlión. What she got was Bill Weasley, a brick wall, and the immediate understanding that “you are a werewolf” is not, in fact, the smoothest possible opening line to use on a man you’ve fancied since approximately fifth year.
They say you only get one chance to make a first impression. Luckily, she’s known Bill for years. And, if nothing else, she's now certainly made a lasting impression on him. And, unfortunately, on that grimy brick facade.
The wall is coping admirably. Both Bill and Hermione are not.
Or: Bill’s wolf has found its mate, Hermione is trying very hard to pretend nothing happened at all, and, somehow, Charlie is the only one managing to be remotely chill about any of it.

Summary
Hermione trained after the war to be a healer specializing in curse detection and removal in the human body. She hadn't planned to be sent to Egypt right out of healer training, but she was glad to see a familiar face when she arrived. Now months later, she must come to terms with her feelings for a certain Weasley when she is sent on a house-call to Bill's dorm. He thinks he's been cursed by a pendant but she knows it's just a common head cold.

Summary
When Hermione finally made it back to the states, hoping to relive the joy of summers spent on her grandparents’ horse farm during her youth, she’d expected her grandmother’s doting and her grandfather’s hard lessons. She’d even prepared for the chaos that came with the revolving door of people who showed up for Nan’s Sunday dinners.
What she hadn’t anticipated was that she’d arrive for what was supposed to be a fresh start with her son in tow, only to come face-to-face with a blast from the past in the form of a very not-dead Theodore Nott.

Summary
About mid-way through the book, as her thumb passed along a page, a green ribbon fell out, a makefast bookmark. Hermione opened the page, and found one line highlighted against the cream-colored page:
“To defend the despised is to carry the weight of their sins.”
Her throat went dry. A small slip of folded paper, pressed neatly between the pages, slid out and fell into her lap. She hesitated, then opened it.
The handwriting was unmistakable.
And now you carry mine.
