Summary
“D’you realize,” [Crowley] said, “that we never tire of things humans get bored with on the regular?”
Aziraphale shrugged, lazily basking. “I’ve always assumed it’s that we don’t tire of each other.”

Summary
"Shall I stay?
Would it be a sin
If I can't help
falling in love with you?"
-- Elvis PresleyThrough the Ages chronicles Aziraphale and Crowley's transition from foes to friends and eventually lovers, staying true to the essence of their story while taking a few small detours.
Starting with their First Arrangement in 1020, the series continues through present day and into the future.
Let there be angst, and fluff, and smut, and fluffy smut, and angsty smut, wrapped around a whole lot of longing and sexual tension, and a happy, happy ending for our favorite duo.

Summary
Before he was Crowley, he was Raphael—the Starmaker, the Archangel who questioned what no other dared to question. Before he was merely a Principality, Aziraphale was something far greater, and he carries within him memories he doesn't know how to name: flashes of golden light, the scent of stardust, a voice he can't remember but whose echo makes him weep.
For six thousand years, a demon and an angel orbited each other like two planets with incompatible gravities—too close to ignore, too far to touch. This is the story of that love, which has no name in any angelic or demonic language, which cannot be contained in any human word, which has traversed eras, wars, bonfires, and the near-end of the world.
This is the story of a love that always existed, but took six thousand years to be spoken aloud.

Summary
Aziraphale lasted in Heaven for all of eight minutes. Eight minutes and forty-two seconds, if you counted his run back to the elevator.
The Almighty counted, of course.
(So did Crowley.)

Or,
You didn’t actually think Aziraphale would leave Crowley, did you?

Summary
Down in Hell, they tell you that no demon will survive it when an angel starts to sing, something stupid about the holiness in their voice being more lethal to you than the purest holy water.
It’s not that, Crowley comes to realize. It’s not lethal in the way that hurts physically. It’s the way it makes him aware of everything that was taken from him when he fell. The purity, the feeling of belonging to something, the feeling of living for something, not just against it. The warm glow of stars building between the tips of his fingers.
Or: Crowley hears Aziraphale singing by accident
