Summary
Rumi sits on an unassuming rooftop as fireworks go off above the Sports Complex center. It's been a long week. The Honmoon is weakening, the Saja Boys are flooding social media, this ache in Rumi's skin just won't stop bothering her, and she had to lie once again to hide her patterns from the girls.
After everything Rumi has been through she just wants to relax, get out of the tower for a bit, and enjoy the fireworks. Unfortunately, Jinu happens to run into her.
But, just maybe, his presence isn't all that bad.

She raises her eyebrows, intrigued. “And to what?”
“Your public boyfriend.” He looks her dead in the eyes, like this is a matter of life-or-death.
They had never confirmed nor denied their relationship; Rumi had allowed herself to keep this part private, safe from the world who knew her tragic backstory. He had no desire for any spotlights again, so it had worked out amazingly well. Fans speculated, people just assumed, but there was always this deniability, this protective glass around them.
