Summary

When the GIW has found a new way to track ghosts using emotion, Danny's life gets turn on its head. With this revelation, his parents believe him to be possessed or a ghost in disguise, and he has nowhere to turn to.
Now Danny is on his own with a new set of priorities. A: Survive. B: Hide, by making sure he has no emotions. C: Leave the country so that he won't have to hide.

Summary
After graduating high school, Danny moved to Gotham to study and work and importantly not having to fight ghosts on a daily basis. Each hour spent as Phantom means two hours recovering for him, so he avoids it as best he can. As the Ghost King, he can't avoid it fully. He does well to stay under the radar, until his boss, Lucius Fox, wants him to work on a Top Secret Project. Coincidentally, he befriends Tim, not realizing who he is dealing with at first. Then Tim helps him recover after a rogue attack, and friendship turns into love quickly.
