SPOILERS OF THE NIGHTOUT ARC (AKA VOLUME 20 OF JSHK)
Context: Kou and Mitsuba were preparing for THE exorcism. In a “what if” scenario, where Kou fulfilled Mitsuba’s wish of the “Night out arc”. Having his existence being ended by his most important person, someone that actually would care about him being gone.
I wrote this RIGHT after finish reading the “Nightlife arc” it has been sitting in my drafts for MONTHS maybe almost a year…wow, anyways-! Enjoy! Sorry in advance.

They’re alone in their bedroom, and Sunny is pleasantly warm and cosy, tucked underneath Kel with his boyfriend’s forearms bracketing his own head, so Sunny feels more than comfortable enough to murmur, “Feels nice?”
“Duh.” Kel’s words are already slurring. He’s always quick to start dozing when Sunny plays with his hair. It’s a sweet tendency of his, but Sunny hasn’t quite tired himself on the feeling of Kel’s eyes on him, so openly affectionate, so he slides his hands back to cup the nape of Kel’s neck. His fingers tangle in the fine baby hairs there, and he doesn’t tug, but Kel shivers. He’s ticklish.
Sunny smiles again, and it earns him a huff of air from Kel, followed by another lazily adoring curve of his lip. Just too comfortable to be properly indignant, Sunny supposes.
