Xingqiu paused, glancing up at Chongyun from over the rim of his wine glass. Amber eyes studied him for a moment, before Xingqiu grinned. The tip of one sharp incisor poked through the break in his lips.
“Well, what’s good for your blood is good for you, too. Your blood is a part of you, after all."
Chongyun had thought that partnering with his mysterious and attractive classmate Xingqiu would help him get a passing grade and boost his GPA, and maybe even a date. He hadn't anticipated that arrangement would include having a vampire fuss over his health for "the good of his blood".

Xiao had a problem. Venti’s birthday was coming up. He had known about it since Venti had mentioned how close their birthdays were after finding out when Xiao’s was. He really didn’t want to spend Venti’s birthday the same way he usually spent his own. Xiao actually wanted to treat his new boyfriend to something he would enjoy. Something special.
The problem was, he had no idea what that special something would be.
Sometimes, the actual gift isn't what's important. It's Venti's birthday, and Xiao learns that sometimes, it really is the thought put into the gift that makes it special.

“What movie do you wanna watch?” Xiao asked, craning his neck as he called out to his boyfriend. Venti just shrugged, waving a hand at him.
“I told you, I’m good with anything! Just pick one, I’ll be there in a second!”
Xiao let out a sigh, before turning back to the TV. That was another thing about Venti; he wasn’t indecisive, but he had a very easygoing approach to their activities together, and was more often not free to just delegate the day’s activities to Xiao and go with whatever it was he would decide. It made plans easy, sure, but it was a little frustrating when he wanted Venti’s help on a decision. Kind of like now, as he cycled through the movies on his own. What kind of movies did Venti even like? They hadn’t really talked about movies, other than talking about how bad the Archon Wars movie was…

Xiao and Venti have been dating for three months. Xiao has been getting to know the happy-go-lucky musician, and learning more about him. Each activity they do together has led to another small discovery for Xiao to treasure.
Tonight's activity: movie night.

Illuga couldn't help but feel nervous before meeting Lohen's parents. If they were anything like their son then just what were they capable of? Would they dispose of him if they found him to be a bad partner for Lohen?
Unbeknownst to Illuga, Lohen's parents were just as worried about meeting the so called, 'strong guy who could easily pound him into the ground'
Naturally, Lohen doesn't try to correct anybody.

Summary
15 minutes turn into 20 minutes, then into 30 minutes. Half an hour has gone by, and Harmony hasn’t even sent him a heads up that she’s running late. And maybe it’s silly since he knows that she’s just a few steps away from him, still in the hotel, but worry begins to overwhelm him. Should he go check up on her? Or would that just be paranoid of him?
Or Harmony is late and it's worrying Urbain. Turns out, the flu is unpredictable and does not care for Urbain's plans.

Urbain recoils, shoving Harmony away. Stupid boy, why did he do that? Maybe it’s because she’s too nice to him. He doesn’t deserve to be treated kindly. Or maybe it’s because he taints everything he touches, he loves. And he loves her. He loves her so much. His love will ruin her. His love ruins everything.

There’s a warmth to the smile that Urbain is giving her. It makes him hard to look at. Harmony stares at the teacup, and then at her hands folded on the table in front of her, and then back at Urbain’s shining eyes again.
“Can I tell you something, Harmony?” says Urbain.
