Summary
Wednesday’s getting used to people being obsessed with her, so it’s not surprising that someone’s sent her a hardbound copy of the manuscript for her (still unpublished) novel “High Noon for Viper de la Muerte”. It’s got a beautiful embossed black leather cover, and there’s even a dedication in blood red ink.
“To Wednesday. Remember, Life imitates Art.” She couldn’t have put it better herself.
Only, as she flips through the pages (vellum, with a skin-like finish), she notices that this isn’t her novel at all. It’s all wrong. And it’s all happening in real life.
Set post-season 2. (Yes, I know season 2 isn’t out yet. Just go with it)

This, Wednesday decided, must be some form of punishment for the miscellaneous sins she had committed in her recent past, although which ones precisely she had some trouble deciding. Could it be for the forced castration of those two awful boys? No, she thought, that had been more an act of clemency towards the world than anything else.

Confused is not the easiest of those to tackle -- tired, maybe, or hungry, because she's been tired for the last year and a half (or maybe she's been tired her entire life) and sleep doesn't seem to mitigate that -- but it's a lot easier to tackle than the things she is that she can't even pull out words for.
