    Tim Drake has secured peace for Gotham and all of the Juistria League - by marrying the High Chief of what has been their enemy nation for generations. Now, having left behind everything and everyone he has ever known, his new life in these strange, magical lands begins.

    Whatever happens next is uncertain. There are only two things he knows to be true: Having Jason at his side will be a comfort - and he can rely on his husband's kindness when everything else fails him.

    But will he be able to navigate these Lands, where common sense just doesn't seem to apply? And will he be able to gain the heart of his husband, or be stuck in a one-sided love for the rest of his life? Can he prove his worth as more than a trophy by Danny's side, not only to Danny but to his council as well? And what are these whispers about civil unrest about?

    As Tim is plagued by these questions, his husband Danny also has a few pressing questions he would like the answer to: How did he manage to marry someone as perfect as Tim?     The last thing Tim Drake needed while avoiding Ra's al Ghul's men and trying to find Bruce was for his first heat to begin. Seriously, could the timing be any worse? But there was nothing he could do but find somewhere to hide and wait it out. Pity his hiding place was found but it was not a League of Assassin's base that he woke in.

    Danny was not about to let three adults kidnap a fellow teenager so he grabbed the guy and took him to his keep for safety. And of course, when his guest had a fever he summoned his personal physician. He was not expecting Frostbite's explanation at all! Now what was he meant to do?

    He landed in the passenger seat with a thud, legs everywhere, hair windswept, glowing slightly and breathing hard.

    Then—with calm, practiced efficiency—he grabbed the seatbelt, yanked it across his chest, clicked it in with a satisfying click, and only then turned to Tim and barked,

    “DRIVE!”

    Kon-El comes back from the dead to find his boyfriend, Tim, has endured the death of most of his friends, been stripped of his mantle, joined the League of Assassins (briefly), lost Bruce to the timestream and brought him back, and come out of this all with a host more obsessive traits. He does not handle this well.

    Tim's boyfriend comes back from the dead, and all he wants is to keep him *safe.* But everyone seems to think he's insane for doing this.

    Danny just wants to study aerospace engineering someplace he's unlikely to get kidnapped and dissected (again). But when he overhears a certain vigilante nearly in tears while on the phone with some guy who sounds like a dick...well, he can't keep his nose out of it. Combine that with a unfairly hot, extremely sleep-deprived regular at his coffee shop, and Danny is getting way more caught up in Gotham drama than he ever intended.
