Set after the Goblet of Fire. The typical story where Harry spends the summer with his most hated Professor. Except, I actually keep Snape in character. Well, try to at least.
Theodore Nott is kind of my own depiction of him. The books don't give a whole lot, so he's just what I imagine him to be!

Despite the fact he’d said it plainly, Fray’s brows rose in surprise.
It sounded to her, like this man was willing to let her flock –and by extension, herself– remain within his lands while the ewes had their lambs, and while those lambs gained weight. But she could end up being here for months. At least another week needed to pass before the ewes would start giving birth, and then almost four more months for the lambs to gain enough weight to make the return journey north.
“I don’t want to be a problem,” Fray said slowly, “this is your home we’re intruding on.”
“Stay.”*
As a shepherdess, Fray is accustomed to roaming far and wide as she protects her flock from predators, and ensures their timely return to market. So despite finding herself facing down the largest bear she’s ever seen, Fray holds her ground, only to be utterly taken by surprise as that bear turns into… a man?

The clock hit 7:55, and a knock sounded on the front door. Harry practically bounced across the room, honestly overjoyed to see whoever it was on the other side. No matter what, they were taking him away from the Dursleys, and that was all that mattered. He heard Vernon’s lumbering steps entering the hall, accompanied by the sharp click of Petunia’s heels, but he raced to reach the door first. A wide grin stretched his cheeks to their limits as he threw open the door.
And the smile fell right off his face.
Shrouded in darkness, fog swirling around the hem of his long, dark robes, face as dour as ever, and hair casting cruel shadows across his face, stood Severus Snape.

At the end of 4th year, Voldemort is resurrected using multiple Horcruxes. As a result, he’s reborn a lot more sane, and a lot more handsome. After realizing Harry is his Horcrux, Voldemort has a change of plans.

After blowing up his Aunt, Harry fully expected not to make it out of the summer alive. And boy, did his Uncle try his best to prove Harry right.
Injured and hopeless, Harry set off into darkness that night, the image of Uncle Vernon with his belt in his hand still quite prevalent in Harry's mind. He prepared himself to figure everything out on his own for the next few months until term started again.
However, he was not expecting the eccentric Headmaster of Hogwarts to appear and offer to let him stay elsewhere for the summer. He jumped at the chance immediately, as anything would be better than his Aunt's house.
Until he found himself outside of Professor Snape's house.
Anything but that.
Now stuck living with his most hated Professor and arch-nemesis, Harry once again does not expect to make it to Hogwarts alive. Little did he know that fateful night would fully change the course of his life forever. Now armed with an unconventional father figure, overprotective brother, and army of loyal snakes behind him, Harry might have the chance to be the most powerful Wizard in all of history.
