Sam and Lyle were alright, where they were. Too distant to call romantic, too intimate to call platonic. They felt like they'd settled on the fact that, in the end, they were going to stay with awkward conversations and close touches. Sam was busy with work, and family, and everything else, and Lyle had his own things to care for. They were fine like this. At least, they thought they were.
Then Sam got pregnant, and it threw a whole wrench into the operation.

There's a new chemist in town, after years of distrust and distance from the medical association. But there's something... off about them. Something odd, something otherworldly. Dean doesn't trust them, but not in the same way as the others in Moonbury. They don't seem human, and he's determined to find out why.
The Chemist, however, seems very eager to trust him. And get in his face. Incredibly enthusiastic about being stuck in a town that hates them, they're ready to help anyone who comes their way. Especially a certain police officer they keep calling "cutie :3".
(Also, an expansion on Dean's character and a hypothetical romance route. With all the weird stuff they do in game having a lore reason.)
