Mars was not in a good mood. Ever since team Galactic had gone underground it had hard to find enough grunts to keep everything running. So she was going through the records again.
However this, was the last straw. As she had opened a filing cabinet with documents from over 100 years ago she saw a report in which it said that team Galaxy had been at war with the Unovan Transit Authority, which didn’t exist yet.
She was going to chuck someone out a window for this. Someone had thought it would be funny to make her job harder by messing with historical records she was supposed to maintain.
Mars was done, she was done with this. Let’s see what creative story they came up for why team Galatic would be at war with the Unovan Transit Authority.

When James finds himself lost on an abandoned line, he makes a wish to be saved. When a mysterious woman finds him, he has no idea how his life will be derailed.
Wishing wells can be troublesome when they actually work.

Summary
A shared job between Edward and James takes a horrific turn when Edward is the victim of a horrible accident. An accident so horrible that he's sent to the steamworks with no way to know for sure if he'll make it out okay. The engines are met with the possibility that he may be beyond repair, where there could be no choice but to scrap him.
With Edward's fate in the air, his friends are left to deal with the extreme emotions that anyone would go through at a time like this. No engine has quite the same experience. Whether it be a growing frustration at the world, an insistence that everything will be fine, or a desire to work harder than ever. No one's getting out of this in one piece.
OR, I inadvertently made S21's "Springtime for Diesel" but it's Edward instead of Daisy, and arguably a lot more serious.
(Aight, all those misspellings of 'Knapford' should be fixed now)

Rei doesn't know a lot of things. He hit his head pretty hard when he fell from the sky. He does know how to catch Pokémon and how to battle and that's enough for the Galaxy Team. It's hard work, but it's fine. People don't really explain things when they give him assignments, but Akari is around most of the time. Akari is his friend. She'll keep him safe.
Basically, Drayton from Scarlet/Violet as the PLA protagonist. He will be needing therapy when he gets home.
