Summary
Cloud never thought in a million years that he would switch from having a terrible love life to forming a polycule with four wonderful men. But after Sephiroth's actions at a high-profile event last year, and a huge secret that forces them to marry, living a peaceful life slowly becomes a fleeting dream once someone tries to take his life.
They later learn that the men involved with threatening Cloud’s safety just so happen to be Genesis and Angeal’s ex-boyfriends. Genesis refuses to believe that one particular ex is a part of some scheme that is inflicting trauma onto Cloud. However, that same ex has displayed a dramatic personality shift that suggests he is being manipulated by another ex-boyfriend.
Genesis is forced to revisit his painful past to locate the perpetrator hurting the people that he cares for. Thankfully, Sephiroth and Cloud, along with Cloud's mysterious bodyguard, decide to join him on his search for answers.

Summary
Sephiroth dreams – sees the man (monster) he could become. He then decides to take a different path. But destiny has a habit of staying the course, and he finds he will have to fight harder than he ever has before for the right to decide his own fate.
Luckily for him, he has some help.
(Or, in other words, a remix of FFVII, in which Sephiroth turns toward the truth in hopes of finding freedom, in which Aerith tries to become a Cetra her mother would be proud of, in which Zack strives to achieve his dream of becoming a hero, and in which Cloud, once again, just ends up saving the world).
