Summary
On the way to a routine intel sweep, Sergeant John "Soap" Mactavish is hit with a horrific vision - the plane he and his team are on explodes after take off, killing everyone on board.
When Soap doesn't end up on that plane, he finds himself and his teammates hunted down by what should've happened...their untimely demise.
As the realisation occurs that something darker, something unavoidable, is stalking them - strange events unfold on base. One by one, death reclaims what she is owed.
--
“We have to get off, now”
“What?”
Price's commanding voice, sharp and confused, broke through the murmurs Soap hadn't even realised were there.
The captain approached quickly, tone steady but edging towards pulling rank.
“John, son,” He began, reaching out a calming hand, “We can't just get off. We need this lift, what's gotten in to yo-”
“No!”
He flinched away. His breaths came in ragged, unreliable bursts.
“No- This plane is gonnae fuckin’ blow and we all need to get the hell off now!”

Summary
Finally having a bit of down time, John is forced to embark on a fishing trip with his Da and nephew, dragging along an unwilling Simon Riley.
As the day goes on, John's headache begins to worsen, alongside other unwanted symptoms and he has to navigate the torrential rain and not dizzily lose his balance and fall down into the canal.
-----
“Do we really have to go fishin’? Granda never catches anything,” groaned Jacob as he wandered into the kitchen, hair a mess and looking exactly how John felt.
“Why do the fish come oot so early anyways?”
“It’s an art, boy,” Da grinned as he came in, fishing gear galore over his shoulder, with big green wellies and an armless fishing jacket the man certainly looked the part.
Unfortunately he was fooling everyone but the fish.

Summary
“Wait kid!” And in that moment it came to him, “What if, what if we don’t forget you? What if we send you away?” Strange desperately called out.
“Mr.Strange… ” Peter had a sympathetic look in his eyes and Strange hated it. It wasn’t his life that was being destroyed, so why was Peter looking at him like the victim.
“Listen, I can send you somewhere there is no Peter Parker. There are an infinite number of universes, I can find one.” Strange said, more to himself than to Peter. And he knew this was dark magic, he knew he shouldn’t, but he didn’t care.
“I’ll send you there. Until I can fix this. Until I can bring you back.”
Or: Dr. Strange sends Peter to an alt universe where there are no Avengers, but they do have a thing called a Justice League. And sure Peter is homeless, but that doesn't stop him from being Spider-Man.

First time I've audibly gasped at a twist in a fic. What a fantastic experience!! And I adore the fact Crowley and Gabriel were, they were done incredibly dirty, especially Crowley. Fantastic writing and incredible attention to detail.

Summary
The first time she meets him, he's nothing more than an almost-missed appointment.
~~~
Dean is silent for a long, tense moment, then he gruffly says, "It's not for banishing the angels. It's to summon them. So, it doesn't—it's not to get rid of 'em, but to draw 'em in."
Mitzi can't help but glance up at him at that. His voice is so heavy with so much unexplained pain, and she doesn't understand why, or what angels have to do with it. She knows religion can impact people. She's very aware that it can get complicated, and that it can be a huge source of pain for someone, but Dean sounds grievously wronged, somehow, as if it's a truly personal thing.
She pushes through, focusing back on her job, clearing her throat before murmuring, "Well, I guess we all want angels to visit us sometimes."
"Just the one," Dean mumbles.
"Your guardian angel?" Mitzi asks.
Dean breathes out, "Something like that. As close to one as an angel will ever get."
I can't begin to describe how this fic made me feel. Definitely one of my absolute favourites to date. The pure joy I felt at the end was unimaginable and I spent half of the fic crying. Incredible job, would absolutely recommend. The characterisation was perfect and it really felt like a great extension to canon that we should have gotten instead of the last episode. Thank you very much for writing this.
