Summary
It’s the summer following the Marauder’s Fifth Year. The Potter family are enjoying a family breakfast when Fleamont feels a shift in the wards. For the first time in centuries, something has appeared in the Potter Ritual Circle. No one expects a bloody, unconscious teenage girl. Nor do they realize how much she will change their world.

“You’ve made yourself at home quickly.” Sirius growls.
Her mess of curls drapes over the back of the couch as she sighs in contentment. Her eyes slip peacefully closed, “Isn’t that the point of the afterlife?”
“You think you’re dead?” James chokes as his dad shoots a warning look at him.
Mirth dances in her gaze as she glances in their direction, “Well what would you think if the last thing you remember is an Avada being hurled at you and then you wake up to people long declared dead?”
The silence that follows is heavy with a growing tension.
“She’s a nutter.” Sirius mumbles loudly.
Hermione laughs joyfully.
Euphemia carefully sits next to the young witch. Gesturing with indulgence she says, “Let’s say you are dead, why would you be here with us?”
“Harry Potter.” A sad, loving smile forms on her face. “He tried to save me.”

Summary
