She was right. I'm no physicist, but back then engineers and biologists didn't work far from each other. Especially when integrating life with machines.
Blood, somehow, had been the most effective energy source in powering any kind of machine. We learned that the dark way. Too much knowledge had been used at such a hubris and vile cause. And I'm not too keen on revisiting that.
