Summary
Over the years, Eames has made his interest in Arthur no secret, and most people assume that Eames has been in lust since first sight. But really, his first thought was, “Why did you bring a kid straight from basic?”
Arthur, all gangly legs and in a belt that had to have an extra hole punched in it, bristled visibly in his corner but said nothing. Eames didn’t notice it at the time, but in the aftermath of everything, it makes sense to him that Arthur stood alone in his corner, that the other three members of the team stood, attentive, on the other side of the room. In the moment, Eames just chalked it up to Arthur’s clearly young age. -

Summary
Eames knows everything about everyone, it’s just in his nature to watch people, to ferret out their deepest secrets over the course of a few hours and a few drinks. People will talk to a stranger; they’re less guarded about personal details. Of course, Eames has a few of his own personal details–but a life of observation has taught him a thing or two about keeping those secrets, how to keep people at a distance, how to not get involved. He knows just how close to allow Arthur.
But Arthur’s been keeping secrets of his own.The wolves in the woods have sharp teeth and long claws, but it's the wolf inside who will tear you apart. – Jennifer Donnelly

Summary
“Eames! I heard a rumor about you and Arthur!” Ariadne shouted. “That you two are, like, together.”
“Well, he is standing next to me, so I think we can safely confirm that one is correct,” Eames replied.
“No! Not together, like together.”
Arthur sipped his gin.
Eames pulled his lighter out of his pocket and began to flip it between his fingers, his long and very dextrous fingers. “Oh, that rumor. Did you want to get in on the bet? Because I can give you Yousef’s number.”

Summary
After Hogwarts, Harry does what's expected-starts a job as an Auror, dates Ginny, gives speeches and definitely doesn’t sick up at crime scenes. It isn’t all work for the Boy Who Lived. He goes to bars with friends, has fun and enjoys life; he’s a shining example to all wizarding kind on moving on. During the day.
And Draco Malfoy? He has plans. He’s getting a job and going to marry a muggleborn, prove to the world that he can change. He’s definitely not fighting with Harry Potter or sicking up on rugs. He’s not letting Potter drag him into bar loos. He’s getting his life together. He is.
Excerpt:
“I’m going now,” Draco said, eyes fixed somewhere between the bed and the window.
Harry was close enough to touch, so he did, reached out and locked his hand around Draco’s left wrist without thinking too much at all. It was on the tip of his tongue to say something, a million things--stay, have a good day, will you be here when I get home, please stay. But his eyes caught on the bookcase next to the door, on the picture of his parents dancing in the swirling snow, and all the words died in his throat. He squeezed that thin, pale wrist and then let go.
And he was alone in the room.

Summary
Arthur and Eames have different impressions of home. So how are they exactly the same?
Arthur: Maybe he would sit at the table, hunched over his coffee with the newspaper spread out all over everything, dripping marmalade and butter from his toast. Maybe he would lean against the butcher block counters while his tea brewed, arms crossed and frowning. Maybe he would sweep into the room just as the sunlight was beaming into the open window and pull this woman into a tight embrace, pressing eager kisses to every part of her face.
Maybe any of those things was true, but Arthur couldn’t really imagine them. He could only see him standing in line at the airport Starbucks, clutching his Venti Macchiato with a double shot of espresso, because if he was going to drink coffee then it would be something burnt and disgusting with entirely too much caffeine.Eames: Whenever I think of home I think of an airport Starbucks, and you sitting at the gate, reading the news on your phone and complaining about some other passenger, you know, the one with the luggage that most definitely won’t fit in the overhead compartment.

Summary
And Harry grinned ear to ear. “Well aren’t you just nice,” he whispered back.
Draco scowled harder. “No, I’m an asshole. Shut up.” And then Ron and Hermione were sitting down, and Harry was laughing and Draco stomped on his foot just to make his asshole point. Harry laughed harder.
“What’s so funny?” Ron asked suspiciously.
Harry shook his head and Draco crossed his arms. “Potter thinks I’ve done something amusing, but I can assure you that I haven’t.
“Oh, it definitely is!” Harry settled down from his laughing fit.- Words:

"I don't know what your problem is," Arthur hisses, leaned in close. His lip is curled, eyes narrowed. He's pissed, and Eames wants to remember this moment until he rots. "But you're going to stop."

“Do we always have to fight first?” Harry asks breathlessly, shoving his hips forward in a quick rhythm.

Summary
No matter how many times Eames points out the strangeness of this place, no matter how hard and long he focuses on all the details that are wrong, nothing is shaking, nothing is coming loose. If he was really dreaming, he’d know it by now. This is something else, something he can’t just wake up from. Universe swap!
