Summary
“Ow!” A voice pipes up from under the lily pad. Gunwook narrows his eyes in suspicion, and he keeps chucking wood chips at the seemingly sentient floating leaf. “Fuck! Shit! Ow—can you please stop doing that?”
The lily pad slips off the hidden offender, and Gunwook sees the briefest flick of a large tail disappear beneath the water. His jaw drops.
“You’re—” A mermaid, is what Gunwook means to say, but what comes out instead is “—very vulgar.”
Gunwook gets lost at sea in the midst of doing his research. Matthew helps him find his way home.

“Park Gunwook,” Hanbin replies with a smirk.
“You mean the same Park Gunwook from our high school dance club?”
“The one and only.”
“Like…” Matthew pauses, narrowing his eyes at Hanbin’s phone as if it personally offended him before saying, “the one who used to have a crush on me? The mantou-cheeked boy who kept following me around?”
Hanbin reintroduces a former acquaintance to Matthew. Matthew tries to reconcile the cute boy from their past, with the still-cute-but-also-hot man he has become.
