“What?”
“The girl from the garage band who gave you her phone number? We broke the law to chase her down?”

Pearl remembers. She gets butterflies just thinking about it. She didn't answer. She hasn't talked to her yet. Frankly, she never thought she would. “Oh my god, do you really not remember? It was two nights ago! She looked like-”“Yes I remember her Amethyst.” Pearl didn't want to turn around. She was blushing merely at the thought of that girl. She just kept scrubbing the dishes.
“Well? Did you call her?” Amethyst seemed much more interested in this conversation now then when she initially started it. She sounded like she was leaning over the counter with eyes wide as starships.
“...No. I haven't called her.”
