Cody grits his teeth, trying to swallow his anger. It wasn’t the kid’s fault. He didn’t know any better.
“He shouldn’t have that,” Cody says coarsely, ignoring the way it pains his chest to watch the boy’s face fall. “It doesn’t belong to him.”
“My uncle is not a thief,” The boy contests, crossing his arms tightly across his chest. “Maybe you’re the thief!”
Cody sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose between his fingers. “You don’t know what you’re talking about, kid.”
“My name is Luke,” He says firmly, dropping his arms to his side and straightening his back. Cody looks back up to make eye contact with him, surprised by the fiery determination in his little eyes. “And for your information, we Kenobis are honorable men. We certainly do not steal.”

It was soft and fond, parental, and Kakashi’s heart thudded. “Children do not cry silently unless they know there is no attention coming, Hatake-san.”
He had done that, once upon a time. After his father’s burial, when there had been no one to hear him. No one to listen.

The Umino clan is from Uzushiogakure, just like the Uzumakis; they came to Konoha to protect the few remaining Uzumakis, as the servant family with strong and bone-deep loyalty relations to the Uzumaki.
Decades later, Iruka as the last remaining member of the only other clan with a long history of seals, must decode the few remaining Uzushio scrolls to help the ANBU Hound get out of a career-ending jutsu.
Iruka thinks the third has finally gone senile. Kakashi thinks this is all very (not) funny. Naruto is just happy that his teacher and favorite anbu are getting along.

The remnants of Sephiroth were incomplete souls however each had the makings to be something more if that just had more time. Time she could give them, to be something more than that of fragments. However, if she sent them alone, they would break, or break the world really. Luckily her good friend Cloud was right there and he always had problems saying no when someone needed help. Maybe together he could change and help more than just the three if given the chance. If he could get past the Turks, Shinra, and Soldiers wanting to know why there were three children running around that looked like mini versions of the General Sephiroth and their keeper a blond man who just might be stronger.

When Obi-Wan Kenobi is called on to complete an undercover mission to discover Separatist involvement on a neutral resort planet, Cody volunteers to help him—not realizing that the planet is exclusively designed for romantic partners. Never one to back down from a mission, both Obi-Wan and Cody agree to pose as a couple for as long as it takes to uncover the Separatists' plans for the planet.
There are... several problems with this. Cody has never even kissed another person before, let alone been in a romantic relationship—posing as his General's husband will somehow be easy, hard, and impossible all at the same time.
For the Republic, right?

With others' attachments and intentions now made visible, he is thrust onto a path that takes him further and further away from the Jedi Order. Justice for the clones becomes a priority - by any means necessary. And the support of one clone in particular slowly becomes vital to Obi-Wan's wellbeing as he is forced to make an impossible choice.
