(Basically Kara is a waitress falls pregnant and ends up having an affair with her doctor, Dr. Luthor and 16 years later Kara's daughter reads about it in her diary.)

—opening wounds for the closure
My take on "Emily fell first, JJ fell harder".
Unwanted fingerprints were left on her body by aged hands that raked through her hair, pushed themselves through meninges and hymen, and left her with gaping holes that would forever keep her empty. Her frame a sieve for love, for care, for soft. It passed through her boiling and scorching. And she let it.
OR
Emily’s life gets tilted when a social media post drags her past out from the dark, abandoned crevices of her mind. The love that never was is slipping out of her fingers. And the cross that she’d long buried is starting to burn on the back of her throat once again.
A character study based on Emily’s childhood trauma’s, and how she’s trying to keep that mask of hers in tact whilst trying to balance a pendulum riddled with self-loathing, disgust, and guilt.

The mechanic isn’t just pretty – she’s muscular. And sweaty. And broad. Her shoulders are wider than they look at first glance, and as she reaches up to remove her hat and wipe at her brow with her forearm, Lena can see her bicep flex.
Lena tries very hard not to be affected by that, or by the adorable red line the ball cap leaves on the woman’s forehead.
“Hi! I’m Kara. James said your Porsche gave out?”

Needing to get away from the stress of her job for a few months, Lena buys a summer lake house in the most remote town she can find. She fully intends on keeping to herself, resting, and interacting as little as possible with the locals.
Until her car breaks down, and the town mechanic happens to be the hottest woman she’s ever seen.

Kara Danvers is a well known reporter, she is known for exposing the truth about the most corrupt institutions. Five years ago she got too close to uncovering the truth about a conspiracy involving the United States and Columbia. She was murdered by a hired assassin.
Kara was married to Lena Luthor, one of the most powerful women in the world. She's spent five years trying to figure out who murdered her wife. She was convinced that the death of her wife was a big cover up to prevent her from exposing the truth. Lena is now engaged to Renee Montoya.
Renee Montoya is the director of the FBI, she's spent the last five years, helping Lena Luthor figure out what happened to her wife. Somewhere along the way she fell in love with Lena Luthor and is now close to marrying her.
Or the AU where Renee Montoya discovers that Kara is alive and she is determined to bring her back to Lena.
