Summary
Not necessarily an ideal situation but I'm willing to try and find the positives. At least so I can have something pleasant to look forward to. Being Bella Swan was an unexpected challenge but, you know, it could have been worse. I could have been reborn into Twilight without knowing anything about anything and have to stumble my way through like Bella had!

Summary
Hal has a little secret. He doesn't think Batman's a bore, yet thinks that Bruce Wayne is a mystery.
Bruce is something akin to a performance of careless charm and a sharp intelligence that Hal is determine to figure out.
It starts out small really-a cup of coffee delivered with a smooth tease of "Looking a bit too dead there Spooky" and a satisfaction of watching the Dark Knight actually take a sip out of said cup. Months of effort and shared secrets disguised as routine slowly chip away at the carefully curated personality of the man that is Batman. Hal is patient- he is quite literally the embodiment of pure will.
But the real breakthrough doesn't come during a world ending crisis. It happens after a grueling League meeting, when the Bat finally runs out of steam. He doesn't collapse from a villain's blow, but from the invisible, grinding weight of his own masks. When Hal gently removes the cowl from the barely conscious man, he realizes that he's finally seeing the real guy.
Now, Hal Jordan finds himself guarding the most vulnerable man in the world. He is certain of one thing: he's not leaving until the man behind the cowl wakes up.

Hal Jordan is afraid he wouldn't be a good partner. He's afraid he wouldn't be a good father. He's afraid he'll fuck things up and doesn't even realize it.
But with friends with benefits, he could get someone warm to hold at night and when the sun rises, they would part ways and never see each other again.
That is what friends with benefits are supposed to be.
Right?
Then why is Hal living in Bruce's manor, eating his food and co-parenting his kids?

Summary
In a world where Hal and Bruce got over their petty in-fighting and actually took the leap from enemies to lovers, they celebrate the two-year anniversary of their marriage until something goes horribly wrong and Hal is sent to another world where it wasn't the Green Lantern that seduced the bat, but Superman.
Between not being in the position anymore to knock sense into his (not)husband, grappling with his own rampant insecurities, and snooping around the life of his alternate self there was a lot on his plate that pissed him off; luckily even here he was still the favourite parent and his kids are still not all that complicated (even if Clark might say otherwise).

And this human is...EXTREMELY different, to say the least.
