When Yuuri looked down at the phone he’d rescued from the bedside table—the model practically prehistoric and enclosed in a scratched poodle covered case he hadn’t seen since the expletive-filled aftermath of Yuri Plisetsky phone-throwing incident #6—and added the bright “...2015” blaring at him from the screen to the cramped lonely single bed he woke up in and the mosaic of Victor—oh god, Victor—posters on the dirty walls, he barrelled headfirst straight through confusion, careened through every possible stage of panic like a champion sprinter in the anxiety Olympics, and landed in that uncanny state of calm that can only prelude a record shattering skate or life shattering recklessness.

"About ninety three point seven percent, yeah. This is just the first test, keep in mind, so you won't actually be going very fast yet. This is mostly about getting you into the air and getting a baseline to start calibrating the steering." Vex reminds him. The usual mask Scar wears at Vex's villainous lair in place of his Hero one has been replaced by some sort of headpiece Vex gave him. Something about needing to place electrodes on his skin under the mask. Vex is busy rooting through Scar's hair to stick more of them to Scar's scalp. By now, he surely looks like a porcupine with all those short pokey things stuck to his head.---
Vex built Scar a suit that lets him fly. Or will, once the calibration has been done.

Cub expected to feel more different, holding a hero captive in his apartment. He doesn't. Everything is almost the same. Get up, stretch, get dressed, greet the sun. Not until he gets to his food is anything is different, the extra oversized danish sitting on his tray a reminder, fresh and still faintly warm.
After checking and rechecking everything known about Hotguy's potential food allergies, everything in the danish cross-references cleanly to things Hotguy has eaten publicly before. Things Cub has seen him eat at city banquets where they’d brushed shoulders. As does the glass of juice Cub pours. Cub's got spreadsheets tracking that information, to make it easier to plan out what food to order. Preparation, to ensure he could handle Hotguy’s needs.
All that's left now is to bring the food to Hotguy.

CEO Cub buys a captured Hotguy at auction, planning some simple autographs for his collection before the hero inevitably escapes. Hotguy finds something else in his time with Cub, though.Series
