** Spoilers ahead for Vengeful **
After his supposed death at the hands of Sydney Clarke, Eli Ever's body is placed in a cold storage unit at an EON facility where he will one day be studied, but never again draw breath... or so they think. June, however, knows better. Immortals can't die, they can only be temporarily contained, and this one might be just what she needs to carry out her latest plan for revenge.
Cities away, Victor Vale is still dying. He's tried everything he can think of to reverse-engineer Dr. Haverty's power-blocking serum, but without the dead scientist's notes, he's at a loss. With time running out, his only chance is to find the one EON agent who might still have access to the information the organization buried, but he just so happens to be the same target Eli and his new group of allies are searching for.
Once again, the former roommates' paths seem destined to cross -- or collide. After years as friends and more as enemies, no one knows them better than each other, making them perfect foils... or maybe something more.
