The merc with a mouth had managed to go quiet for the second time that night; doing nothing but heave and stare at Peter through those deep, sensitive blue eyes. He had to be beating some kind of record.

It was winter, which meant that Peter could afford for little to no rest. He found that if he got too cold, Peter would settle down for a very very long nap and not wake up until 5 days later; a major inconvenience, if you ask him.
So during colder months in the city, Peter found every way to keep himself moving and warm: night shift at another job, more hours of crime fighting, or simply jogging until his legs felt like jelly, Peter found as many ways as possible to sleep as little as possible.
Of course, this could have absolutely NO consequences whatsoever... Right?

One day, little notes started popping up around the city attached to criminals. Which, okay, it’s New York. But the content of them was just weird. Albeit semi-cute, although Peter refused to call the work of his apparent stalker cute.
Peter saved them all - not because he liked them, no - but because he figured they might be clues to something. After a while, Peter had accumulated about ten of them and he quickly pieced together the anagram behind the random numbers and letters.

This can’t be the real Deadpool - can it? No way. The real Deadpool certainly has a penchant for physical affection, but he’s an assassin. Being a professional cuddler is, like, the total opposite of killing people for hire.

Miles. Huh, that’s a cool name. Is it from Star Wars or something? Peter always seemed like the type to name his kid after his favorite show. Or movies. Whatever. “Yeah! Your little buddy. The little guy. Petey jr.”
OR: Peter has met Wade's daughter a number of times, and now Wade really wants to meet the kid who he's fairly sure is Peter's son.
