After Scorpius Malfoy collapses due to the effects of the Cruciatus curse, Harry Potter finds himself attending St. Mungo's because Albus refuses to leave Scorpius' side. While there, Harry has a conversation with Scorpius and realises that they have a lot of shared experiences. As Harry does his best to pass on his wisdom to the Malfoy boy, he discovers just how deep his son's love for Scorpius really goes.
Or, Harry and Scorpius talk about their mutual experiences with the loss of a parent, the bullying endured at Hogwarts, and the power that love holds over a person after enduring the unforgivable curses.

Harry watched his son as he slept on an uncomfortable old chair at his best friend's bedside, his head rested on the other boy's chest much like he'd done at Godric's Hollow while clinging to the boy and begging not to be pulled away. And while he sat there and watched this scene, Harry wondered how he'd ever thought it would be a good idea to separate them.
After returning to the proper timeline, Scorpius collapses, Albus freaks out, and somewhere in the mix, Harry and Draco make a start to repair their relationship for the sake of their kids
