It’s been a month since she found out.
It’s been a month, and in that time, Lena hasn’t stopped trying to not think about it. In that time, she’s probably gone through the five stages of grief ten times over. In that time, Lena has just—stopped working. Her CPU has crashed and burned and flung itself off a fucking mountain cliff but the memory unit is somehow still intact and she just Can Not seem to forget.
And she’s tried, okay? Tried drowning herself in work, tried her luck at yoga, even ramped up her already high alcohol intake. Tried every trick in the book that would get her to stop thinking about Kar—no, she doesn’t even know a Kara anymore. About Supergirl.
(All those, even altogether, worked maybe barely.)
Or: Kara lies to Lena, Lena lies to Kara, Lena lies to herself and Kara really just wants it all to stop so she can have her Lena back.

Summary
Taking things slow with Vi was something Caitlyn was deeply regretting. It had been her idea after all and Vi was always so willing to go along with what she wanted, never wanting to overstep. Caitlyn had secretly hoped that Vi would just give in to instincts and mate her every time she presented her neck. Vi would bite her everywhere else except where she wanted it most.
The longer Caitlyn waited for Vi to show up the more it felt like her emotions would boil over.
But that was when she smelled it. Something so distinctly Vi that there was no question about who had just entered the building. It was a pungent woodsy, citrusy smell that made her start to salivate. Caitlyn almost forgot why she was annoyed with Vi in the first place until she smelled something else. Something that didn’t belong. Something that wanted to take what was hers.

Summary
For ten years, Vi was locked up inside Stillwater.
When she was young, Vander used to tell her that prime alphas like her were rare and different. A prime alpha’s soulmate is a prime omega, he used to tell her, they both mate for life—one can never come to existence without the other. But he was wrong, Vi realizes as the years pass, she doesn't have a soulmate because she doesn't deserve one. Silco—the man who killed her father—is the drug-peddling kingpin leader of the Undercity; and the sister she thought was killed by him, turns out to be his masochistic, deadly weapons-maker. As tensions rise between both sides of the city, Vi and the omega Topsider who sprung her must put aside their differences and work together to prevent an all-out war.
One problem: Vander was right—she has a soulmate.
And of course, it's the Enforcer who freed her.

It wasn’t an earth-shattering kaboom, or an upheaval of her life, or any other dramatic nonsense she’d heard from Jayce and Viktor, from Claggor and Mylo about the searching for and the discovering of love. It wasn’t this moment of lucidity, a thunderstrike of passion and feeling that overcame her senses and pointed her home. If anything, it was understated, quiet, a simple pleasure.
It was an exhalation.
