Fancy seeing— “Doctor? Wha—” his question was cut off by a violent cough. “Doctor, we’re in my house. What are you doing here?” He leaned his hand on the door and coughed some more, blood threatening to spill.
“Obviously, I know this is your house. Usually I saw you in my lab, working. Aren't you going to let me in?” Robotnik asked, unbothered by the coughing fit.
“Doctor, I don't work for you anymore. I resigned.” I was scheduled to die today.

Stone is dying with Hanahaki disease for falling in love with his own boss. On his last day, Robotnik decides to keep him company. He accidentally saves him at the last minute. Then, he beats the shit out of Stone.

Summary

All seems well, but when Stone comes down with a nasty flu and can't do everything he normally does for Robotnik, an offhand comment brings his abandonment issues roaring to the surface and sends him spiraling. Neither is quite sure how to handle it, but they're doing their best.

After surviving the Eclipse Canon explosion, with the help of Chaos Energy, he finds himself in many alternate realities and meets many different versions of Stone. The question is, will he manage to return?
Stone, on the other hand, is on the run from everybody, including GUN, who's trying to hunt him down. Still dealing with his doctor's death, he makes an unlikely aliance with a particular alien and exacts his revenge on the world, but not before a good cup of coffee.
- Now with main villain Stone in the last three chapters!

It was just a one time thing. Everything went back to normal afterwards, as if nothing had ever happened, and Stone was fine with that. Really, he was. One night was more than he'd expected to get, so he should be happy, not moping around the crab like a kicked puppy.
It was fine.
Until he was staring down at a positive test, the two small lines taunting him, and was left with the impossible decision of how to proceed.

Ivo survives the Eclipse Canon, but not without consequences. The ones to his body would be bad enough on their own, but being scattered into a boundless void of his own conscious is by far the most annoying part.
At least, it was — Until he wakes up and finds himself face to face with an alternate version of Stone. A Stone who is as dead as he is. A Stone with no shortage of lessons to teach his Doctor, and just as many past lifetimes to show him.
