“It won’t work in the long run, either. You can try to overrule me all you want! That’s exactly what makes it so entertaining. This arrangement we have–you’re like a pet,” He continued, eyes narrowing. “An asset is what you are, and I make sure to use every aspect of the assets I have within reach.”

Mercutio had died but two hours ago. Honestly, Romeo doesn’t want to think about it. He doesn’t want to think about how his friend died in his arms. The way he cradled him. He especially doesn’t want to think about his skin. How he felt. Warm. His stomach churns at the mere mention of Mercutio. A disgusting, disgraceful creature. One that he had held dear until the very end.
The aftermath of a canon divergent act 3 scene 1 in which Tybalt is stabbed to death and Romeo is fatally shot, bleeding out in secret over the course of one night. In short, an alternate ending loosely based on the 1996 film.

Willow’s face stays completely blank. She lets the gun clatter to the floor, grabbing him firmly by the shoulders. He expects her to slap him, or maybe even try and shoot Georgie himself.
“It’s your fault!” he repeats, words mixing with sobs, still fighting against the restraints. “They’re going to die, because of you!”
