Summary
The city’s law enforcement is split in two — and they couldn’t be more different.

At nine, Giyuu lost his sister to a demon. The villagers called him cursed, mad, a liar. When they tried to send him away, he ran into the mountains and nearly froze to death. Rescued by Urokodaki, he found warmth only in Sabito — his first and only friend.
He turned ten just before Final Selection. Sabito died so Giyuu could live.
By thirteen, he was the youngest Hashira in history: silent, cold, and ranked among the Corps’ strongest. He mastered Water Breathing and created the Eleventh Form — Dead Calm — a technique that slows his heart to near-death, using the lingering damage of that long-ago frost.

Dazai cracks his eyes open, immediately being met with the sight of his very pissed boyfriend caging him onto the bed, a curtain of ginger hair falling around his head. The brunette’s eyes light up, and immediately tackles the other onto his back, Chuuya letting out a surprised yelp. “CHIBI!!!”

Chuuya has always hated Osamu Dazai- Why wouldn’t he? He was the most annoying, ridiculous, irritatingly charming suicidal manic. He was the worse partner in the history of Port Mafia- Always dragging Chuuya into idiotic shenanigans and being stupid and dumb and THE WORST. So why did Chuuya begin to suspect that he didn’t just hate him… Or that maybe he didn’t hate him at all? Every night they spent together, dancing at bars or listening to music on the rooftop made him more and more sure that it had always been something more.

Osamu Dazai was in love- He had been in love with Chuuya Nakahara ever since the night of Oda Sakunosuke’s death. That night, Chuuya held him while he cried. That night, they both stopped pretending to be the cocky, ruthless mafioso and the charismatic, cunning partner. That night, Dazai fell in love- And he’s been trying to tell Chuuya ever since. Every night he spent wide awake was a night spend, silently loving the man that supposedly hated him.
