this is very, scratch head, angst is my favourite meal
what did i expect from reading the summary;; not like this not like this!!!
good fic and a good read (synonymously, of course, common sense that good fics are always good reads)
hyunjae questioning his feelings at the end :C sometimes falling out of love is something that happens so it can't be helped ☹️ miserable as it be when the realisation strikes

the last few lines of dialogue where hyunjae uses past tense is so much mixed feelings im so smash head keyboard broke right now, emotions that can't quite be described in the current moment but im sure its something along the lines of, i dont think i can handle a ngst anymore😭
this sort of angst especially where its one of them realising they've fallen out of love. where the fic starts with them being happy and then ends with a realisation that makes the bottom of my stomach hallow out (is this the correct saying?). i love it so much i love it so much

The boy was definitely lost, even his outfit was a clue that he did not belong in this town. Expensive jordans covering his feet with knee high socks that did not allow skin to be shown despite the blue shorts that he had worn. He had a thick sweater on that probably cost more than Jaehyun’s snack hauls combined together for the past four years.
Not focusing on close details – like the silvers around the boy’s wrist and neck and dangling from his earlobes – Jaehyun could already tell this boy was the most lavish person Jaehyun had ever met. What Jaehyun couldn’t not focus on, though, was the pink in his hair.

been on my read list for imaginably long (spoiler: a little bit over one month—the moment i saw in the hjf postings, i automatically put it to a to-read fic. no surprises, ill eat up everything milnyu as if it's a feast, even more when its a user chanheepretty fic!!!!) so to read it on the night of the 30th of july i am unbelievably devastated
