Short (?) story about some unfortunate guy turning into everyone's favorite telescope over the course of two months
Warnings for body horror (shit gets real by chapter 3) and paranoid tendencies, kind of the stuff to be expected in a story about a guy turning into telescopes i guess

With a second chance he never could've expected, he realizes they need to act quickly to protect both the people in their apartment building and outside it.
He can't mess up. Not again. Not with every person in the world counting on him.

Summary
A few years after the world was saved from disaster by its new Protector, from the depths of the cosmos where the Visitor left to came a thought. A thought of wanting. A thought that did not want to be alone. A thought that reached out... and brought itself to the world. If it could not see the world, and the world could not see it, perhaps if the world saw a part of both the world and the Visitor, it could see through other eyes.

Sam never considered himself a particularly religious guy, nor a conspiracy theorist in all honesty...
Joining a group which combined both those things was a jarring experience! The end of the world can't truly be real though, can it? He's not even allowed to look at this supposed Visitor, for god's (or is it Visitor's now?) sake!
Sam had left already, and anyways, it's not like this stuff was real...
