Summary
Novelisation Of Evangelion aims to bring Neon Genesis Evangelion, the 1995 anime that changed the mecha genre, to a purely written form.
That's about it really.
The plots will remain pretty much the same, the only difference being some manga plots or story details may be implemented in places where I feel it did a concept better. For example, Kaji's backstory, to name one.
I've been wanting to write something about Evangelion forever now, ever since I first watched it in August of 2024. My head endlessly filled with theories before I finished it, so I was kinda disappointed when episode 25 and 26 glossed over everything for a 'I don't think you should hate yourself' arc.
I aim to fix some of those missteps and reimplement the important lore things that really help explain the First Ancestral Race, and the hierarchy and dynamics of the Angels more than the original show did.
I'm also definitely going to include everything from The End Of Evangelion as the story simply isn't full without it.
Don't worry, I am going to be continuing with Experiment's End, but I may have to pause Dimension Of Perfection for a bit as I get this work started.
No-one was reading it anyway.

Life has returned to Tokyo-3, with new and returning citizens coming back to restart things. With the defeat of Armisael, an unusual halt in angel activity forces NERV into a short hiatus. During foundation repairs, a new sector of HQ is revealed. A partially underwater base of operations is uncovered, originally made to survey the ocean ruins of Japan to recover artifacts and hopefully creating a new habitat for life undersea.
Asuka has returned from her rehabilitation at Euro with her Eva along with a new friend, Rei has completed her quarantine and is wanting to show up more for her teammates, and Shinji with a secret push of Kaworu's help wants to do things right with his fellow pilots. After getting everything back into shape, familiar yet unknown signs of life begin to appear throughout the ocean floor forcing NERV back into action. Together, the pilots take the time to get to know one another again, readying for utmost coordination for battle and the mediocrities school life.
