Him and Rose just have to pretend well enough that no one thinks twice about Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov. It’s just playing pretend, and if Shane was never very good at that as a child, well. Shane is trying to insulate himself against any chatter about him and Ilya. Rose's reputation needs laundering. The perfect solutions to their problems, are of course, each other. Stay together, get married, divorce once Shane's next contract is secured and Rose has a new agent. Easy.

The first time Yuu saw Mika, he felt a new feeling he now know as "longing". They were eight, Mika was the tallest and the oldest boy from all the children in the orphanage. They instantly clicked, though Yuu wouldn't admit it. He liked the proximity and warmth the blond boy emitted.
Often than not, Yuu would climb into Mika's bed and sleep there, snuggling or kicking the blond off. Only to feel shy and cover his embarrassment with a brat attitude. And they stayed together like this for almost four years, until Mika got adopted.

In the beginning, there was Wemmbu and there was Egg, playing in the rose-gardens and daring each other to fly across the void, and in the end there will be Wemmbu and there will be Egg, bleeding away on some blown-up battlefield.
“I am,” Egg says, gently. “I’ve been sick for a long time,” Egg continues, and he looks down at the midnight pants of his suit, almost ashamed. He sighs, looking up and meeting Wemmbu’s eyes again. “I’m going to die in three days,” he says.

Henry finally opening up his blacksmith shop, he meets Bartosch along the way. They tried to connect, but Henry has a hard time moving on.
Hans struggles the most, and even more so when Hanush refuses to hand over Hans's rightful inheritance. He found himself lost, even with the help of Jitka. It wasn't until Radzig, pitching an idea, suggesting he help rebuild Skalitz with him. He agreed, in hopes this would bring Henry back to him.
Hans realized he had to make big sacrifices if him and Henry would ever be together again.

Before the finale came out I was worried that in order to make Vox truly realize how much he's lost, both Velvette and Valentino would need to end up dead in the final battle.
