We begin halfway through Book 1 after Asami rescues Korra and friends from her father. Book two is a complete rewrite, and Books 3 and 4 and the comics will show the ripple effects of that rewrite. The comic Ruins of Empire will not appear in this series. Instead, a Book 5 (post-finale) story is planned that focuses on the consequences from the prior books and the implications of spirit energy/weaponry.
