Summary
This is a follow-up series to Out of Darkness, exploring the life of my DnD OC Garogomy, the ork barbarian, after he is set free from imprisonment as a gladiator. It is a slow-burning slice-of-life story about how he and Savia, the teifling bard, teach each other their respective disciplines, living on a beautiful tropical island and dealing with their own traumatic back stories. It's cute and wholesome and I just love these characters so much, I think they play off each other really well and hope you will to!
(if you didn't read out of darkness the only things you really need to know is that Garogomy was imprisoned as a gladiator 14 years before being freed by the God Vakviser and Savia healed him from a fatal injury.)

This story is based on my DnD character and Ork Barbarian turned Bard. This is a look at his backstory, being a prisoner of pirates forced to fight gladiator-style for his own survival. This is a hurt/comfort fic that focuses on a battle gone wrong and his eventual salvation. It includes some violence in the first chapter, then a character experiencing intense pain, and finally some fluff as a treat. I may add more to it in the future but for now enjoy!
