Josie's leg, 2.5 years after Skyhawk, gets her medically discharged from the Army. She buys a house in a small town in Georgia (not a real town), with property of about 20 acres. Cruz, although not together, follows her after retiring from her position as the head of the Lioness Program. This is their journey as they become more familiar and more comfortable each other, and as they get to know the town they live in and the people they live in it with.
A cozy series about Cruzie in their post-retirement from the military life, with them getting together very early early on and becoming active members in their community.
