I am writing a series of oneshots about the Founders of Konohagakure, not limited to but mostly focusing on Hashirama, Madara, Mito, Tobirama and Izuna. I am operating off of a timeline I created. It may not be completely canon, but quite frankly Kishimoto's made a huge mess of his nonexistent timeline and trying to make sense of it's been giving me massive headaches.

I will tell you that the events themselves are only canon up to chapter 618 of the manga; I'd include 619 but there were some things mentioned there that already don't fit with my timeline (Namely, Hashirama living long enough to actually know Tsunade), so I'm not including it. For everything introduced after that, in terms both of events and characterization, I will do my best to reconcile it with my outline (especially the characterization; that's more important to me than sticking to canon events anyways), but if it just outright contradicts my outline, I will ignore it. And as of chapter 622, this is probably just going to be AU. Oh well. I hope you'll accept my canon-inaccurate, but hopefully still interesting history anyways.

Notes:

Just to aid you, here are some of the ways in which my series is now definitely AU.

1. Hashirama and Tobirama are adopted, rather than blood siblings. They do not have any other brothers (Or sisters, for that matter).
2. Madara and Izuna do not have any brothers. They do have a number of stillborn sisters.
3. Neither the Senju nor the Uchiha brothers are children of their respective clan heads. They were all born pretty far down on the hierarchy, in fact (And Tobirama isn’t even a clan member by blood).
4. Madara and Hashirama’s relationship develops a bit differently.
5. Izuna dies far later in my timeline than he does in canon.
6. Tobirama doesn’t start out hating the Uchiha’s guts and thinking that they’re out to commit evil. That comes later.
7. THERE IS NO UCHIHA CURSE. Allow me to reiterate that: THERE IS NO UCHIHA CURSE. Tobirama thinks there’s one, but there isn’t.
8. There is no Kaguya.
