Summary
Atsumu doesn't care when the scrubs in middle school don't want to talk to him because he talks about volleyball too much. But he can't stand the thought of losing his childhood friend Hinata.
Hinata's friends in middle school run at the sight of him, not wanting to be roped into volleyball practice. After his father dies he decides that he can't lose Atsumu as well.
Neither know the other is as crazy about volleyball as the other.

Summary
Hinata never let his ears or tail drop, afraid of what being exposed as a wild, pure-bred would mean for volleyball. Then Miya Atsumu's ears and tail dropped when he declared that he was going to set for Hinata. On instinct, when faced with a fellow fox dropping he did as well.
Miya Atsumu was in love and as a high-status Silver Fox, he had complete right to walk under the net and take Hinata with him.
So he did.
