Summary

Freedom always comes at a price.
And Nora Weiss will pay it, again and again, after tragic circumstances finally allow her to transfer from the Garrison to the Scout Regiment. What she has always yearned for is within her reach; freedom, and knowledge. She is prepared for the danger her dream entails. She did not, however, expect the allure her new captain—even less approachable than herself—presents to her, and finds herself yearning for something else entirely.[Main work of the series, can be read standalone (no big cliffhanger ending).
