Summary
After a mission gone wrong, Yuuji and Megumi find themselves hiding in a stuffy old closet, where they discover that they may have some repressed feelings towards each other. They deal with said feelings in the most mature and sensible way.

Okay, Yuuji supposed there was another problem.
There were many things that were difficult about being a young adult—the fact that no one took you seriously, the way you had no idea what you were doing with your life, the way people tended to look down on you.
But the hardest thing, in Yuuji's opinion, was the fact that no matter how old you were, the most basic parts of your body were still wired to do exactly what you didn't want them to.
He knew, for example, that his brain would not stop interpreting the pressure of Megumi's body against his as pleasurable, regardless of how much he was begging it to shut up. And, more importantly, he knew that his brain would keep telling his dick to do its own thing, no matter how much he tried to will it down.
The result was that, well, Yuuji was pretty much hard as a rock.

The universe fucking hated him.
That was the only possible answer. Megumi wasn’t much of a theist, but this week had proven that there was a god and that god hated him specifically.
The new hospital manager accidentally scheduling him for thirty two hours on call, Gojo ordering the ER leopard printed scrubs (not the whole hospital — just the ER), and not one but four patients who thought the supply closet was a bathroom hadn’t even been what did him in. No, those were all idiots he could handle.
The idiots he couldn’t handle were the ones he was forced to share the road with.

Summary
Megumi took a step forward, towering over Yuji. He had grown taller over the years, giving him four inches on the younger boy. “Are you so sure about that?” He breathed. Their faces were close now, chests almost touching.
Feeling Megumi’s breath fan over his face wasn’t helping Yuji’s brain formulate a response. What was the question? Yuji had to tilt his head up to look at Megumi when he was this close, a fact that thrilled him. It wasn’t until his own caramel-colored eyes met dark blue ones that he realized just how close they were. “I’m… I’m sure. Yeah. Super sure,” he whispered.
Megumi just stared at him for a moment, letting the silence stretch. It wasn’t uncomfortable, nothing was uncomfortable between them. They had known each other for four years now, came back from the brink of death over and over, fought as allies and enemies. As much as Megumi tried to fight it, they had grown close. Which is exactly why he knew he could get away with his next move.
Yuji watched with rapt fascination as Megumi leaned forward, almost connecting their lips, but at the last second, he swept right and found Yuji’s ear to whisper, “You’re an idiot.”
