Chapter Text
During the night when the mutant slept. Pierrot watches her almost the whole time. He had slept the normal amount of time he needed. He would stay watching her if he didn't have to go and make breakfast for everyone.
He unwillingly left her on his bed so he could make breakfast. He will make her breakfast as well. He will make french toast just for her. He serves the first others and eats his food quickly.
“Pierrot, don't eat fast. You might choke.” Jester warns him.
“You might upset your stomach or the food won't settle as much if you do that.” Doctor comments.
Pierrot has a saddened look to him, which is fitting to his namesake. Harlequin smirks at Pierrot's pitiful expression.
“The mutant should still be there after you eat. Bring her to my office when she is done eating.” Ticket Taker will see if she has any skills to put to use. He knows in the future her plant powers will be useful in hiding them from view.
He had been informed what Doctor and Jester had learned about her. He wants to know how much the green lines cover her skin. He knows many humans would think they are tattoos.
Pierrot slows down eating. He has finished before the others did, but not as much as he wanted. He cooks for her next, wanting to make her food freshly made.
Jester rolls his eyes at Pierrot's eagerness of serving and returning to the mutant. He thinks it's a pathetic front to put on for her. He won’t lower himself to that level.
Harlequin is tempted to sneak into Pierrot’s trailer, but he knows he will be caught before he could even step a foot in. He will see if he could be alone with her later. He will try when Pierrot is busy with something.
Pierrot returns to the trailer with breakfast for his lady. He finds her still sleeping, but she has a frown on her face and looks like she is trying to make herself small.
He doesn't like the sight of that. It pains him to see her like this. He put the plate down somewhere safe. He slowly approaches her. “My lady.” He carefully touches her shoulder. “Wake up, my lady.”
She wakes with a jump at his touch and voice. She looked at him in panic as her eyes glow green and the green on her skin glows from what can be seen. They glowed for a little while.
As much her fear has a sweet taste to it. He doesn't enjoy this type of fear. A similar fear that he had though. “You were having a nightmare.” He tries to calm her by backing away. “I have brought you breakfast.”
She thought she was back in her universe due to the nightmare she had. She thought this safe place for her was just a dream.
Her attention is brought to the french toast he had made. She licks her lips at the food. It smells as good as it looks.
Pierrot hands over her breakfast for her. He grabs a bottle of water for her as well.
She tries a bite and lights up at the sweet taste of it. It's soft as well. “This is good!”
Pierrot smiles at hearing that. “Thank you, my lady. I made it just for you.” He will cook anything for her.
“Thank you for making it and giving it to me.” She goes on to eat it as Pierrot watches with a big grin.
Even after eating it, she tries to lick the plate clean. It tastes so good to her.
Watching her licking the plate. Pierrot couldn't help but to think of what else she could lick, something of his. He is drooling at the thought.
When she put the plate down. He has to put away those thoughts in his head. He doesn't want to act on those thoughts yet.
He picks up the plate from the bed. “Ticket Taker wants to see you.”
She narrowed her eyes to think who that is. “Is he the one with the top hat?” They hadn't introduced themselves to her yet. She only heard them say names.
He nods as she gets that right. “I'm Pierrot.” He tells her if she didn't know. He offers his hand to her.
She gets out of his bed and takes his hand. His hand is massive to her small ones. His pupils formed into hearts when she held his hand. He can't help but to think of so many lovely things about her.
He goes to take her to Ticket Taker's office, which is in his trailer.
